It all started with a couple of Yorkie Terriers. I fell in love with them upon visiting my sister in Florida where she had two little ones at the time. I knew I had to get one of my own. This was close to 30 years ago now.
I proceeded to have a few litters of Yorkies and wanted to keep them all. My little male at the time was very studly and decided he wanted to bolt every time the door opened to look for girlfriends. Out of concern for him, we soon had him neutered. Although I still have Yorkies, and probably always will, I went for years with no litters.
I found the Australian Shepherd breed due to my friend. She had a couple of them and I was amazed by how intelligent they were. So, a few years ago, I decided to get one for myself and we fell in love with Blaze. He is a typical Aussie who acts like a clown. He is so family oriented and protective, but smart and silly. He smiles and tolerates all the babies with such patience.
I wanted to share this breed with others and show people just how wonderful they really are. So i did the health testing on my male and once he was cleared with flying colors I started my search for a female. I found Koda and she is amazing. Her health tests passed with flying colors as well.
Which leads to where we are now. Blaze and Koda have had two wonderful litters together and the pups have made 16 families very happy.
I am always so happy and excited when I get a picture or video of the babies in their forever homes and how they progress so differently. From swimming to skate boarding, they can do it all. I still get pics from their very first litter and I absolutely love watching them all grow up and see what they become.
